I've seen so little of Driver that I'm not sure if he'd be good. Based on talk show appearances alone, I would've thought Ridley or Boyega would be better choices given they've been practically jumping up and down in every appearance. But Driver seems better in the commercials for SNL. Maybe it's better to curb your

Aw, it's been a rough year already. Bowie, Rickman, and my grandmother. Granted, the last one is personally much worse.

I approve of the obscurity of this reference.

It still manages to hang on early on in the Winchester years, but it does start slipping soon after. And once you reach Radar leaving, you may as well skip it. But Winchester is a great character.

I heard an interview that the MASH producers sort of tested that lie after Rogers left the show by making a script that had Hawkeye get word that Trapper was killed in an accident back in the US. And CBS asked them not to do that because of Trapper John, MD.

That's mostly true, though Winchester was a pretty good character, especially when he first showed up.

"Despite?"

The very first shows with Seth he seemed very stiff in the monologues and didn't seem to "talk to" the audience much. He loosened up and had more fun. Corden… I just don't think he's funny.

I like Tina Fey, and Amy's okay but I just never liked her all that much. But am I also the only one that finds them insufferable when together? At least lately.

Yes, this time she was angry AND married.

I thought it was more like a T-Rex with those little arms.

You may be right, but for a while it seemed like Hillary was the presumed winner.

I've become very disappointed that Colbert's show resembles Fallon's much more than I expected. And Corden seems to have taken up the celebrity ass-kissing that Fallon so excels at, and mixed that in with BBC's The Graham Norton Show, which has everyone come out and sit at once. But he's just pretty bland compared to

Sorry, dude. I've never been a big fan of rap music, and I just kind of mixed up the songs. If I thought about it for an extra second, I would've corrected myself. Though I think Cop Killer did actually include the phrase "f*** the police." And, was the "asshole" really necessary?

Pardon me. I realize now I was confusing it with "Cop Killer."

I for one was shocked to see they covered that Ice-T song, now renamed "Munk the Police!"

A single one of these live action/CGI kiddie movie adaptation is usually okay. Sometimes they're bad, but usually forgivably so, and harmless, if dumb, fun. When they start making sequels it becomes instantly awful.

Another amusing thing that's gone on way too long now.

What a serious, dramatic commercial for such a dumb show…

I am tired of two things beaten to death in the last two movies, which repeat themselves like the last one didn't happen. The first movie seemed to have Kirk grow up, and take his responsibility seriously, and THEN he has the same arc again.
