I suppose maybe they can bring these properties into modern movies and make them popular again. But when I hear anything about "Universal Monsters" I think of properties that are stuck in the 1930s and 1940s. But you never know. No one expected Disney to pull of a successful pirate movie either.

Cool, I had no idea. I just new him for comedy.

It's very interesting that they apparently changed so much of the show compared to the original. I'm surprised there isn't some angry response over that.

Perhaps Zach should stop trying to be a writer/director/whatever and just look for some acting roles. If he was pursuing another TV series or just getting cast in someone else's movies, he probably would've kept more of the "Scrubs" goodwill going.

That title image just screams "QUIRKYYYY!!!"

Caption that photo: "Students, listen up! The director has let us know that you're not being sexy enough. I'm sure you can all wear tighter shirts and have more sex if you try your best!"

But the most Jewish name ever prize may go to Fyvush Finkel. Just saying the name out loud makes you feel like you're a Vaudeville comedian.

Maybe getting really pissed the Reagan campaign was doing well?

I forget which SW game had it first, but I think it was one of the Dark Force game, but I recall playing one of them in which you could Force-pull enemies toward you, then shoot them. It was twisted fun.

"So what? No fuckin' zitti, now?"

Was the reference to Russian sleeper agents some cross promotion for FX's The Americans? And that show is set two or three years after this Fargo season.

Danson laughing and the shit cop half-heartedly defending himself made it even better.

Richard Kind? The guy from Spin City?

I know there are people who can't stand Kenan, but I just find the guy funny even in his blander stuff. I guess some people find him to be a one note performer, but I like his notes way more than Leslie Jones' "I am loud and angry" shtick.

That probably would've been a nice twist.

My theory is that Christensen and Portman are the kind of actors who need more coaching/directing to do well in a movie. Despite what some say I've seen Portman act pretty well. And not to Lucas-bash, but it doesn't sound like he's a very good "actor's director." I just feel like DiCaprio is more natural at it, and

I'm with Will on the idea of DiCaprio. I remember back in the day his name was actually thrown out there and some of us fans were still thinking of him as the "Titanic" pretty boy. And didn't like the idea. But given where he's gone with his acting career I realize now it may have helped a lot. Granted, given the

He who lives by the cattle prod…

This show also did a lot of inventive, almost "experimental" kind of episodes. Like the one that shows two alternate versions of the plot. We learn what happens when Lois brings the boys bowling, and also see what happens when Hal brings them. Some things are different, some things are the same, and in the end they

I'm not so sure he is ripping apart this movie like you seem to think. He's poking fun at it, sure. But it's like when I sometimes tell people a movie is stupid, but not in a bad way. This movie, for example, is gleefully stupid and its supposed to be.
