Wow, I didn't know that. But a quick Google search makes me realize they do kind of look alike.

What a bunch of shitty theories.

What was that old black and white movie that had it? It's a surprise to see that.

I see the show now and then because of nieces and nephews, so I'm not sure. But I'll Oscar is nowhere near the asshole now that he was in the era of that video clip.

I wasn't suggesting they were copying Family Guy, just that it was one of the first times we saw that style of storytelling.

Wow, I watch very few of those shows. Oh, well.

"The message sent was that preserving its carefully constructed universe was secondary to the goal of producing an episode, and this world could be taken apart and put it back together as necessary."

In Germany, the everyday, typical-soldier veterans of World War II can be honored for their sacrifices while they still ban the use of Nazi symbols and salutes. In the same way, you need not praise the Confederacy to memorialize some soldiers who fought on that side.

It didn't help that that was said in a closed event that was revealed through secret recordings. Some of his advisors should've been shot. The problem is now to become a Republican nominee, you have to somehow become an ultra-conservative moderate. Which is impossible.

Yup. I still think the real Romney is a much better guy than some would think. I think that 47% thing was definitely him making an awkward attempt at courting those who would agree with him. Unfortunately you can't run for office now without kissing the ass of some party to get their support.

True. I'm from Mass., and just because he was the Republican nominee doesn't make him very conservative. In fact he may have actually done better if he was more conservative.

- "Brian, we've decided not to fire you…"
- "Oh, thank you so much!"
- "…but you're moving to MSNBC."
- "Shit."

It also would be an even bigger reason for candidates to ignore campaigning to the smallest states.

Not my cup of tea, but I'd give it a try.

He obviously understands things as well as Ben, who essentially admitted they'd find a random scapegoat to take the fall.

Yeah, there's about 650 comments as I write this and someone probably already said this, BUT… even if that did happen and Tom was president, while we do have a scenario where Selina could become Veep again, I can't imagine any politician would ever agree to that. They would likely see it as kind of humiliating.

Or, at least that one time. Without opening that whole can of worms, maybe it happened different because they had questions on the validity of some of the votes.

It could just be Mike wanted to stop the potential giant embarrassment that would've followed. But the others really should have tried to dissuade her from doing that too early. She was clearly just feeling sorry for herself.

I absolutely love when Selina gets pissed and starts ripping the American people a new one. Even if it's in private. You just know every president in history has said or thought things like that behind closed doors.

I do really wish that the show wouldn't rob us of any satisfaction in seeing Arya go all bad ass. She goes way too far, becoming a merciless, happy butcher so we have to feel sorry about what she's become. This show sure is becoming a grind to watch. No wonder everyone loves Tyrion so much.
