It did occur to me as an ambiguity of the film when I saw it the first time, especially with the discussion of the Five-Point Palm not really existing. Yes, Bill was a ruthless crazy controlling psycho, but he was also getting old and tired.

This show is doing something different than the comics, not just with updating the war, but it’s a great show for what it is, and much of it is about veterans and civilians today.

It’s funny, I really found this Episode a lot better than the last two, and not slow at all. Starting with Lewis digging his own grave, ending with Agent Meanwhile finally going one on one against Frank (and those engine sounds!), I was captured.

There’s a lot of good stuff on the soundtrack, though, including one of Tom Waits’ greatest recent songs, and the best use of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love”
