The Sable’s “light bar” was cool! And the Taurus was cool.  35 years later and every car still looks like them.

I loved those. Seeing that whole broad lightbar coming down the road it felt like the Buck Rogers future we’d been promised for so long was finally arriving.

Nope. Pony was rear wheel drive. Excel (and Precis, natch) was the next generation Hyundai as they learned about front wheel drive.
