I KNEW that he was an alcoholic, but it had definitely faded into the background. I didn't ever register Rob drinking a beer when he called to get his job back, but that scene flooded into my brain when he drank the minibottle doing laundry.

Madeleine and Ed walking down that red carpet had me cringing so hard. I loved that they cut back to it, to just stew in the discomfort.

The wordless looks in that scene between Celeste, Jane, and Perry were masterful. Nicole Kidman has just been amazing in this role.
