Not one hive mind, many hives. There are too many of us who can’t stand each other to merge into a single collective, but we’ve been working on the group mind thing for a long time, so that’s a natural extension.

As I recall, that’s been the problem with their movies. “Let’s make everyone Batman, even Superman.”

Food, technology, every human need could be much more ubiquitous. The problem has always been and will always be that we are assholes. There are always elites and such taking it all.

It’s true that it’s basically inevitable that every new development will be abused by someone. I don’t think that should stop development though, we just need regulations and understanding to minimize the bad aspects.
