Caffine increases the chances of miscarraige stupid-amolunts in the first trimester, less so in the second two but still statistically relevent, but only for non-smokers.

No big deal as long as the bar/car are clean. Most births are ridiculously painful but otherwise not life threaterning in the modenr world :P
If she'd done that to me I'd have gone back in and demanded a manager.... pregnant women can bring wrath Gods do not dream of.
Yep, wait until Kap's fella finds out that pregnant women shouldn't be using those disinfectant whipe things and that those antibacterial soaps aren't always safe... let alone bleach or anything else....
I can personally verify this. And anger is bad for the fetus.
My husband got really pissy early into the pregancny over the cat litter. "Well, couldn't you wear gloves?" etc. I refused. he's gotten very irritated with the things I'm refusing - canned food, almost all candy and cerials, hormone and chemically treated meat... etc. I'm being ultra-careful. When it becomes…
It is. Because what you said extends to ANY almost-completely-without-risk activity; and if you care to look at that list, you might have some kind of idea where your argument leads.
Truth hurts sometimes.
Your language indicates that you do, and that it is.
Yep, no clear judgementalness on your part AT ALL in that last sentence.
Actually, you ARE judding them by saying the words "why they can't go without drinking". no-one said can't. You don't want to, you don't have to, why should you? It's not a matter of can't - you're being judgmental using that very word and thinking like you are. Even if you don't think you are. Welcome to 'bias I…
Really common. Most women don't know until they're a fair ways in. Generally, harmless. It's binge drinking which is risky. Drinking to get drunk, drinking more than a little. 1 a day is probably more than is recomended, but at the same time, not excessivly risky.
The association is very clearly with excessive and quick drinking, not with small amounts, which is why they're genetrally held to be ok... and no, I'm not volenteering to test this one out.
9 months withotu alcohol isn't required to prove a lack of dependency - several weeks alleviates any sign of chemical dependency. Point invalid. And no, one glass almost certainly doesn't cause damage to the baby. False assumption. It's more dangerous to get into a car.
Erm.. yea, we're still hanging onto 'Pregnant women should never, ever drink, and if they do, they must be addicted' instead of 'pregnant women can drink some times if they want to'. You're presuming something si wrong with her because of an inherent bias and the INCORRECT assumption that she shouldn't touch alcohol…
In all fairness, victoria's secret stuff doesn't last very long if it sees heavy use. Their bras, anyway.
I was workign in walmart about 11:30pm, my usual night shift, when a man came in wearing one of those full-length denim body things, tanned red, talking in the most country accent I've ever heard, asking about velcro. He was a walkign steriotype.
Being a 'healthy weight' is something to be proud of since it's a sign of having conquered your eating disorder... saying so isn't something to be ashamed of, and I read it as a pride point, not a defensive one.
People have no idea what healthy looks like - including health care (un)professionals. It's scary.
Because high class people don't biy fancy underware *rolls eyes*
