Actually, to be christian and against the concept of gay marriage is fine (though I find it distasteful - and that's my right, too). To be christian and to actively attempt to make one's ideals concerning gay marriage secular law IS bigotry. See the difference? Personally held religious values Vs. Everyone Else Must

Inconceivable notion.

Yep, and there's no environemtnal factors AT ALL, either.

I'm sorry for that Alexander. No-one should feel that way.

And to this I say 'amen'.

Firstly: Growing problem, yes. Serious problem? Not as serious as high blood pressure. FAT is not in and of itself a health issue. And no, not all 'fat' people are obese. Yes, you heard me. Despite common wisdom BEING FAT WON'T KILL YOU. Many things associated with fat increase health risks; BUT NOT ALL FAT PEOPLE

Some people are stupid.

For some reason it's OK to be intollerent, cruel and hateful towards people who are overweight - and it's all their fault. All the time. And because it's their fault, anyone can say whatever they want, guilt free. Everyone knows fat people are just weak and stupid. *headdesk*.

Don't be silly. That would take accepting fundamental differences and our own lack of superiority.

That fat hate. It's ridiculous. It really is. And no, I'm not stupidly obese. I am, in fact, struggling to keep my current weight while growing another human being inside of me. I say again... the fat hate: It is ridiculous.

If they're guilty of the crime, then she has every right to tell anyone whatsoever about it as the victim. She's not pointing the finger at innocents. She's pointing at her attackers - and they don't have the right to have her gagged.

Just an FYI: Drugging cats for travel is not exactly well recommended in vetinary circles. That is to say, current advice is to not do it. Ever.

It can cause issues. It isn't garenteed. Binge drinking - like that - is the highest risk factor. Your friend wasn't actually in the majority group of pregnant french if she was binging. Most drink sensibly with food. The french are not actually heavy binge drinkers - for that, visit England.

Science doesn't back up the necessity. A few every so often have no affect whatsoever on most women. It's not a crime, it's not harmful in most circumstances, and it isn't necissary. So why should someone take a deeper look at it as long as they are keeping to moderation? You don't say the same thing to pregnant women

Don't worry guys - it's just hyperbole.

The 'don't have any' advice is because no-one is sure what the upper limit of 'just a few is', especially since individual women and pregnancies will vary. It isn't based on one glass every so often being harmful.

Generally it's agreed upon a small amount is safe - but yea, no-one is going to fund a study involving getting pregnant women drunk with the intent of seeing at what point they get birth defects.

How about because there is almost no risk AT ALL in a glass of mild wine every so often? How about because the advice don't do it' is based on uncertainty, not certainty. No-one knows what the safe amount is - but almost the entier community agrees a small amount now and then is fine. The argument comes in at how much

And who here sees it as a valuble advance in technology that could one day help the blind see? Who here sees this as no excuse to attack a man?
