Devil dogs are dry and unpleasant. Tastykake chocolate cupcakes are the way to go, my friend.

You starved yourself for a month? You were seriously sick.

Their cup sizes depend upon boobs being very buoyant of their own accord. So, basically, after you've had a child, of gotten older, or gained and lost weight a time or two, most of their bras are never going to fit again. You end up with that awful double-boob slight foldover thing because your breast no longer has

I work for another news website so I haven't had time for dinner yet.

He started out goofy though, remember? Third rock from the sun?

Alarum is actually a word. An old-school one, yes, but I think that's probably the point.

I think he's just smiling with his eyes. (I refuse to call it"smizing," Tyra Banks.)

I'm not a furry myself, but my town has a huge furry convention every year, and you won't find a more polite, sweet group of people.

I'm sorry, but given that we're trying to be all equal and stuff, should we really still be asking/expecting men to be all chivalrous and jump in front of bullets and let us get into the boats first? Maybe we can still say "children first," but expecting men to "protect" their "girlfriends" is bloody ridiculous. The

I don't think Dirt Bag is really meant to be factually accurate....

We all have the right to free speech - that is true. Ms. Ryan is not suggesting that what Hustler has done is illegal, she is merely stating that it is ridiculously disrespectful and misogynistic.

Yes, this. (The Will Smith part.) It was exactly what I was going to say, especially the "if Will were female" part.

My husband dislikes Arya for basically the same reason (he's only seen the show, though, not read the books). I can see your point, but she's still one of my favorite characters to spend time with.

I don't think I'd want to be like Jamie. I wouldn't mind having a bit more Tyrion or Arya in my personality, though.

I do find this to be true of books that I love... though whether it's a conscious or subconscious reaction, I'm not sure. For example, I try to be more like Claire from Outlander because I admire her, but I like reading Charlotte Bronte's stuff because I feel I am already like her protagonists in a lot of ways

I am yet another woman who is telling you that I saw this movie on opening weekend only because of Joss Whedon. (As a general rule, I like a good comic book movie, and eventually see most of them on DVD, but I don't usually bother with the opening weekend hullabaloo.)

My reaction exactly, @PinceNez.

It's a bitter reference to victim blaming in rape cases. You know, the whole "she wore a miniskirt so she was asking for it" mentality.

It's not at all inappropriate, it merely demonstrates the power dynamic. However, if you do want to avoid it, you could try: "Might it be possible to meet with you to discuss..." or " Do you have appointments available this week so that we could discuss...?"

I understand that she wasn't on the phone. I was responding to a comment, and to the fact that Ms. Taylor-Brown made a comment about how she *could* have been driving while on the phone and harmed herself upon hearing this news.
