Given what’s happened since Nov 8, 2016, the better question is why does it re-enter your body?
Your post are like many other stories I am hearing from people who are JUST starting to realize how dangerously fucking stupid so many Americans are.
Oh, I figured there was some kind of “group” think going on with these boaters, given how many I saw.
Went to the Florida Keys a couple of weeks ago because the brother in law and his family are renting a home with a dock and boat and, because they are well quarantined -almost as paranoid about it as my family- I figured it would be safe to go down there for a few hours on a boat and away from people.
Much as I love skillful guitar playing, dreamy vocals, it occurs to me there are two songs -and segments of them- that really work because of the drumming.
I read that bit about JDPowers but I think there’s more there than meets the eye.
Nothing seems to bring out the passion -both pro and con- ‘round these parts than an article about Tesla/Musk.
Cox plays Lektor with the sort of chumminess and delight at being so close to Will again. It’s this weird faux friendliness certain very violent people have just before they do something extremely nasty.
Then Hard Target, Broken Arrow, MI:2, Face/Off... I just don’t understand what happened.
Sometimes I feel Airplane! was the film that killed the disaster films... then I think: No, that was probably The Concorde: Airport ‘79.
If anything it holds fire to the pants of the rest of the industry to get moving on the EV train.
I believe the scene went like this: She was holding the cat in a full elevator and an explosion caused the elevator to rock and the glass panel fell out behind her. The rocking of the elevator caused her to fall backwards and her last action before falling to her (hideous) death was to hand the cat over so it was…
I will absolutely give you this: TTI had a much better -and explosive!- climax versus the more subdued climax in TPA, but for me the clever disaster scenario in TPA outweighs the more standard “high rise on fire” plot of TTI.
I have to go with The Poseidon Adventure in spite of the far more powerhouse cast in The Towering Inferno. TPA was simply more clever, story wise IMHO, than TTI. Plus, after a while I felt TTI was a really sadistic film, gleefully reveling in finding clever ways of roasting the cast and/or showing them fall to their…
There are a bunch of pulp private eyes whose rights mist be available as well. Shell Scott, Dan Turner, Hell maybe even Nick Carter
Seems like they really needed someone to explain Perry Mason to the producers.
But I’m not planning on selling my model 3 for many years.
I very much want to get a Model Y but completely agree with your assessment.
