Though I do like most of License to Kill. I have to admit that movie goes completely off the rails in the third act. Suddenly you’ve got Wayne Newton running down the road with a suitcase full of money while everything is blowing up around him.

I agree with just about everything you’ve said!

Same exact story here, but it was Quantum of Solace.

There are plenty of James Bond films I would classify as not all that good.

The reason I went from format to format was because of the extras, mostly.

Opinions are what they are and I’m certainly not going to argue your opinion about Teslas...

I’m a fan of James Bond films, even though there are several of them I feel are quite inferior.

There was a fascinating NOVA episode devoted to full self-driving companies and it was really interesting to see some of the “real world” problems they had to account for.

What you write certainly is a possibility!

Regarding why one should want an “auto-pilot” feature: You really have to take it out on the highway to see/feel.

You’re not incorrect!

Let me somewhat disagree with you:

Full disclosure: I own, and love, my Model 3.

I would repeat what I said in my OP: I feel Musk gets far, far more shit than he deserves. Yes, he’s done some silly things but compared to some other heads of automotive industry, he’s by and large kept his nose clean and, while quirky (to say the least!) that’s hardly an unpardonable sin.

Not quite, though they should be delivered to the first purchasers in the next few days, ie mid-March.

I’ve had my Model 3 for a year now and in that year, the only thing I’ve had to do, maintenance-wise, was 1) Have Tesla fix an inner lining issue by the rear tires (free, took less than two hours to do, have had no problems with it since) and 2) change the windshield wipers/add windshield wiper fluid.

Great point regarding the elderly and disabled and autonomous driving.

As I said, the Cybertruck isn’t for me. In all the years I have been driving, I’ve never needed or wanted a truck so that’s one vehicle I don’t see myself ever buying.

I love the cars themselves and I’d definitely be in the market for one if I could afford it.

It’s not the tech itself I fear, it’s people.
