It seems like scooter riders behave exactly like pedestrians, with the difference being that they can go 20mph with zero effort...

Assistant Driving Mode seems designed to actively distract you while driving. It’s simply terrible. The Android Auto app was better in almost every way.
My RV roof is pretty small, what with all the other stuff up there already. But the awning is huge! If these could be rolled up inside the awning, the low efficiency might be offset by the surface area and light weight.
Think bigger, with fewer wheels...
Useable infotainment systems. A stand-alone GPS and a stand-alone CD player from 2005 were easier to use and less distracting than just about anything any car maker is currently producing. It’s a disaster.
Good headlights. Sure, if you buy a luxury vehicle you might get OK headlights. If you buy a truck, you get…
Just when I thought Chevy trucks couldn’t get any uglier, they upsize and uglify a Honda Ridgeline. Blargh.
Or drop about $600 at any decent auto upholstery shop to have them add heated seats.
This scam of bundling a couple of everyone-wants-them options along with the nothing-but-profit BS that no one would ever buy needs to stop.
I’m always shocked that people get so upset when a billionaire actually SPENDS their money. That money is now circulating through the economy. It seems there are both far worse and far better things to spend that money on depending on who you are. But the most important part is spending it.
I’m more pissed at the…
I average 14l/100km (Around 16 US mpg) in a 2010 Ford Raptor with a 6.2l V8. Almost all highway driving. It’s not like I’m hypermiling it either.
It’s also not hard to have that drop to around 8MPG if I decide to drive fast into a headwind :-)
Everyone is jumping right in to rechargeable battery solutions for RVs. I think a better fit is probably fuel cells. Easy to top up vs. recharging. California probably has more hydrogen stations than all of the other states combined (assuming they go the easy route and use hydrogen fuel cells.)
Expensive? Not when…
This has been the worst year for extreme weather events in my lifetime, and I expect it to be the best year for extreme weather events for the rest of my life...
The headlights of a Chevy Silverado appear to be about 4 feet off the ground. Anytime I am blinded by an oncoming vehicle I now just assume it’s a new Silverado.
So the longer a container sits at a port, the more that port makes through fines? Seems to me like the port has no incentive to get these containers moving...
They could become affordable units when the government takes the money they made from selling the land to the developer, and buys a percentage of the units and re-sells them as affordable. Getting the government to build the whole affordable housing development in such a hostile environment seems like it’s never going…
“I can buy a lot of gas with $10 grand.”
One shifter for the transmission, one shifter for the transfer case. And don’t forget to go outside and lock the front hubs. Old skool 4x4 is the best 4x4 :-)
You say that like it’s a bad thing?
Hex keys. I spent so many years using cheap hex keys. Then I bought a set from Wera and will never go back.
First read: What? The VLA spans like 40km, how is a 1km system somehow bigger?
I think I had my Raptor 10 days before the first big off road trip. I mean, people don’t buy these vehicles to cruise the mall, right?
