As an I-Pace owner, I can confirm that it’s been a sales flop. I picked mine up brand new off the lot for 20% off the MSRP because it had been sat for over a year.

As someone who has (and loves!) an I-Pace, Jag needs to keep it weird. Although it is different enough that I’m not surprised it’s not selling better...

Because so many of their customers are angry 13-year-old boys.

Did you even spend 30 seconds to watch the fucking video!?

Considering their notably temperamental nature and proclivity to overheat and eat their head gaskets, these guys really nailed the “pet is like owner” trope.

Good thing drilling for oil is so environmentally friendly and safe and only occurs in the most stable of democracies! Yes sir!

I drove a Jaguar I-Pace around 50km on some great country roads recently . . . an amazing experience, very impressive to drive, hardly had to touch the brakes and acceleration required my brain to recalibrate.  Highly recommended!

I think you may be underestimating just how expensive gas cars are to run and maintain compared to EVs. A Mini Cooper S is about $25K, the EV is about $30K. That difference will easily pay for itself in 3 or 4 years, unless you hardly ever drive.

Emissions, running costs, maintenance, NVH, never having to stop at the gas station, one-pedal driving, etc.

Or just regular people who like entry lux without the German headache. It is what it is, and it does it very well.

Dragging brake pads, maybe a dust shield rubbing a rotor, maybe a wheel bearing... could be lots of things.

I feel your pain though, any time my car isn’t PERFECT I get depressed and will spend all sorts of time and money making it right again. It’s not like anybody else on the road even cares or is even looking at my

Range is good enough for at least 50% of motorists.

This sounds as confusing as having the reverse lights illuminate any time you unlock a vehicle that is off and parked...

You went from being young and naive to old and stupid.

Congratulations.

Yet you voted Trump, probably still naive.

What could possibly go wrong?

Spoiler alert: it’s not going to get better for them. It’s been downhill for them since the Reagan administration, but they keep voting for the folks that ship their jobs overseas, bankrupt their pensions, pull their social safety nets, etc. Asking for sympathy while shooting yourself in the foot really only

Unless you live next to a powerplant, your quality of life is affected more by car emissions than dirty factories.

The fact that you can now finance cars on 96 month terms and still buy expensive homes with no money down shows me that no, we did not learn anything from 2008.
