EVs have CONSIDERABLY more battery management in place.

It took Tesla 17 years before they turned a profit....

While we’re at it, if your car comes with ridonkulous 19s or 20s, try to downsize - better ride and performance, potentially lighter wheel/tire combos, less expensive, shorter gearing etc - lots of benefits if you can accept the looks.

Those Teslas with 50K-100K on them were not normal daily rentals, as those cars would NEVER get that many miles put on them. Those are cars that were in the Hertz *rideshare* rental program. Which is probably most of the Tesla fleet at this point. I don’t know if that is better or worse than normal daily rentals.

The beady-eyed headlights, the utter blankness of its fascia, the jowly flabbiness of its proportions...yup, I’d say the “stylist” was paying homage to Putin’s favorite bitch:

Covered up in the garage 360 days out of the year is their pride and joy, which is one of only 547 built on a Tuesday in the middle of August by a man named One-Eyed George and one of ONLY 219 with these EXACT options. It was appraised by Racist Bob Collector Car Appraisals 5 years ago at $375,000 and they will never

I think the cost they came up with is the interesting part, not the concept. If you bought a new light duty truck from the Big 3 with a V8 and did only city miles (lowest I saw was 15mpg for non Raptor/trx) at the US DOT average miles driven per year of 13,476; you would pay $180 in road tax to Texas. The charge for

If you use the US DOT average miles driven per year of 13,476 that means basically everything short of a V8 Raptor or Ram TRX will cost less in road tax than an EV in Texas. If you bought a regular Civic and just did highway miles you would only pay $67 in road fuel tax.  EV owners are getting screwed.

With Texas gas tax being $0.20 this would be equivalent to 1000 gallons of gas use per year.

EVs may be harder on tires, but they’re often much, much easier on brakes because you can get so much of your routine slowing down from regen. The brakes on my ‘19 Bolt EV still look like brand new, with 4 years of lots of stop and go driving and a fair bit of highway driving as well in that time. I fully expect the

EV’S produce very little brake dust, most EV owners use one pedal driving, uses the electric motor to slow and stop the vehicle. Brake pads seldomly need replacement. The tire issue is something else. EV’s use tires like all vehicles. That said, all EV’s are not super heavy. Our Tesla model 3 RWD is roughly 3,800 lbs.

I just want car companies and their climate activist clingons to openly recognize that mining heavy metals and battery production and disposal isn’t really much better than using OIL for the environment.”

Don’t worry, scro. Plenty o tards out there living kick-ass lives!

But but everything was better in the past when the Integra was a bespoke, hand built car built only with love and care by men who were trained in the ancient art of loving the metal they worked with and giving it a sensual massage before installing it on the car.

Turns out that Matt conveniently left out the beginning of that video where he sideswipes her and nearly hits a cyclist

Yes, the charging pricing on DCFC chargers isn’t that fantastic when compared to gasoline, but this should only really be an issue when on road trips, as most EV owners currently charge at home or work, which is much less expensive, especially if your utility has a Time of Use EV plan which typically has 5-6 hours of

Honestly this guy seems like a piece of shit.
