“Show me on this doll where the Phaeton touched you.”
“Show me on this doll where the Phaeton touched you.”
Clearly I forgot the sarcasm font. My apologies.
But it makes it more a Bentley than any other car that isn’t a Bentley.
But they were cheap as hell, and lasted a long time if you took decent care of them.
I’d dare say all of this is a better investment than an unneeded fighter plane that is ten years and $170 billion (and counting) over budget.
My fathers f-450 was indirectly hit by lightening (tree next to truck got struck directly) and it fried the truck
How is this a fault? Any car that is hit by lightning can have it’s electronics fried.
Well shit. The last 5 or so posts with the G35/G37 being mentioned I have debated over and over and even convinced a guy who didn’t like it to not only test drive it, but to BUY IT. Hope you’re enjoying it Lopoetve! http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/one-last-reply…
I think both of the J-Bodies fit their roles well as mid-90s economy cars, fun but not too flashy. They ruined the Sunfire which also had fairly simple, tasteful lines. MOAR PLASTIC FRONT END STUFF!!
I disagree. This shows car control, that the operator is aware as to the size of the car, placement, and how to safely reverse the car.
ZEV credits do NOT govern greenhouse gases, they govern local pollution such as NOx, CO, O3 and etc. See how it gets to the point?
You are saying the fact that things like NOx cause smog and acid rain is junk science? Tell that to china.
EVs and Hybrids continue to sell in lesser numbers
How is none of that true? Lithium batteries are recyclable. Are you somehow arguing that it is not? Also are you literally arguing against thermodynamics? You can’t extract energy as efficiently out of ICE direct combustion as you can out of a natural gas or coal turbine.
A world full of only internal combustion…
How are they not more environmental friendly? Batteries can be recycled for the metal content, and electricity from a renewable hydro plant or even a high efficiency coal plant has better carbon conversion than ICEs over their lifecycle.
Shhh. The ignorant teabagger thinks he has a good point.
If you didn’t notice, the government has picked winners and losers in the past, this is nothing new.
This can only end well!
You know, almost everything you just pointed out regarding the Maxima, would also apply to the even better G35/37.
However, there are certain outlets that give advice on certain automotive topics...that you should take with a nearly lethal dosage of salt.
