Legally barring a company from using its business model is legally barring them from operating in the state.

Somehow, I don’t believe you, at all, that you put a deposit down and then retracted it because of a single car death. I’m calling bullshit all day on this one.

People have the option of pouring gasoline on themselves and lighting themselves on fire too, does that make it Exxon’s fault?? Tesla didn’t kill anyone, a driver chose to do something stupid and careless. Something Tesla warns you NOT to do. The results of stupid decision making usually sucks, sometimes worse than

You’re basically admitting that you’re too stupid or stubborn to follow simple owners manual directions. Congrats?

You know what’s funny? Porsche targeting Tesla is actually like a Sith (Tesla) luring a Jedi (Porsche) into the dark side. If Porsce succeeds with the Mission E, Tesla succeeds. Their mission is to fight the combustion cars, not other electrics.

Tesla made the patents freely available. Toyota (or GM) could retool a factory and create a near exact replica of the model 3 and sell a million of them in no time. They could crush Tesla like a bug.

Why haven’t they? They’re not trying hard enough.

So perfect for BMWs current target consumer.

That’s a load of crap. I took an 850 mile trip this weekend. The first stop was a restroom break that my wife said she would have asked for had we not been stopping. We literally didn’t stay there a moment longer than we had to. The next stop was for lunch, and the car charged exactly as much as it could while we ate.

The first couple thousand Model S had fit and finish issues. I have one and it’s been back at service for various things. But they pick it up and leave you a loaner, fix it, and then drop it off clean. Beats anything I've bought new regardless of price.

While there are some issues here and there (which is not uncommon in first year production cars). I would agree that things are being blown out of proportions. Especially WSJ who has a history of trying to attack Tesla pretty much in every article they write.

Car in it’s first year of production from a new, small firm with quality issues? Who would have thunk? I’m not a Tesla fanboy, but these issues seem normal. My guess is that since the market is geared towards people who are not familiar with other manufacturers who have these issues (low volume ones like Morgan, for

as far as i know they are still the only ones that offer it and it was a software update to begin with so if they wait for another software update it could possibly fix most of the issues. It seems a little silly to wait years at the minimum to buy a car then sell it less then 6 months from delivery. to each his own at

thats a bit ironic because those 100k Germans can also have some suprising quality issues, and they aren’t even burdened with the teething issues that go along with bringing such an innovative product to market. So what’s their excuse?

As long as the charging snake doesn’t mistake itself for a proctologist, I think things will be OK...

Well, I, for one, would be willing to excuse even significant issues on really any car under most circumstances- as long as the manufacturer stood by the product and properly and permanently repaired it. If Ford had done that, I’d be buying a new Mustang instead of shopping Challengers.

People keep buying landrover over and over but a least tesla improves it over time
