Trump has said multiple times today that the confederacy is a symbol of strength and victory. The last time I checked being defeated and occupied is a symbol of weakness and defeat.

So Trump decided to continue with his “Covid-19 Hotspot Tour” on June 19th ....and he chose Tulsa.... JUNETEENTH IN TULSA! Home of the single worst incident of racial violence in our country’s history. This has Stephen Miller written all over it.

The Unspooled podcast hit on that argument pretty well as Paul Scheer kept pointing out how the film was more mocking the South while Amy Nicholson felt it was more glorifying it. I’m pretty heavily on the satirical take front as to me there are just too many scenes like the one here in the film.

I admit I haven’t seen the film in some time; it’s one of those “classics” I made sure to watch when I was in my early 20's and trying to become something of a film buff. But it didn’t grab me the way that Casablanca did, and I haven’t ever revisited it.

You left out a key element of this. The official report first stated that the man “tripped and fell”... that Is, until the video emerged.

Uhhh.....have you seen who the president of the USA is?  So, to answer your question, “How many times can someone show the world who they are before people believe it”, it’s never.  The answer is, they will never see him/her for who they are.
