Fine, not a landslide, but a solid victory. Thompson only got 46% of the vote. She also won a lot of counties - not just urban areas. The power of the Obama is not to be denied but she ran a brilliant campaign that turned Wisconsin’s beloved old fool Tommy Thompson into an unelectable old fool.

In 2012 we elected Tammy Baldwin to the Senate. Openly gay and super liberal, and she won easily. Wisconsin is weird.
