I think it’s fine to have some statute - first thing that comes to mind is the Bob Dylan allegations, which happened so long ago that anyone that could possibly collaborate such a thing is probably dead - but 2 years is really not a long time at all, is it.

I don’t think the ballad was, but the ones in particular that jumped out at me were the scene where Randy first confronts Steve and rants about cultural appropriation, which reuses the “City Streets/Open World” theme, and the scene where Randy gets thrown in the cell and Butters thinks he’s a leprechaun, which reuses

Don’t think I didn’t notice your re-use of songs from The Stick of Truth, South Park.

2013. So actually 9 years ago. Time sure flies when you’re constantly in existential dread.

Scene I’m surprised never got mentioned in the review: The part where Stan’s teenager angrily calls him because the teenager thought Stan was calling him gay. Definitely not a mea culpa or anything, but it definitely felt like a bit of a self-aware acknowledgement of the criticism over how casually the show likes to

I don’t think anyone here would argue that plenty of South Park episodes have had really questionable and problematic elements - Trey Parker & Matt Stone have plenty of regrets themselves.

Apparently it was shown before in the AV Club’s favourite episode, “Board Girls”

Not to mention the nazi protagonist that’s meant to be likeable and funny! Tsk, tsk. Absolutely unbelieveable.

It looks like this episode makes South Park the first scripted television show to address the war. Pretty wild.

This episode seems really designed to fuck up the people who keep track of this stuff on wikis.

“However, it does feel like another slight on It's Always Sunny that the longest-running live-action comedy in history”

What are other shows that need this kind of treatment? I'm thinking 30 Rock is a big one.

You come from Jezebel don’t you

Far as I can tell The Simpsons has gotten better lately. At the very least the animation has taken a real upshot in quality.

Just a few.

It’s a real good show for seeing writers just do whatever the hell they want with seemingly nobody that’ll actually strike down an idea

I heard Hillenberg rejoined the show at some point and it took an upswing in quality around then. I've heard good things about Season 10.

I don’t remember the name, but there was one that ended with Tom turning invisible and actually getting the upper hand on Jerry. I have fond memories of going to school the day after and being like “You won’t believe the shit I just saw!”

It was a Rare game, so, uh, never probably.

Oh god we’re gonna have to deal with more Johnny Depp discourse
