I agree that the 3DS could use a boost from multiplayer, but to be fair, that is just exactly what Nintendo has been doing with almost all of its major games on the system. How about Animal Crossing? It might not be traditional "multiplayer" but it's only because of the 3DS's capabilities that New Leaf was as seamless
