I loved that chapter! Even having completed the game, I'm still comfortable saying it was one of my favorites. I actually seemed to favor a lot of the weirder, less actiony chapters in this game.

I figured something like this would happen. The second one was anticipated like the Second Coming, so the third was bound to leave a few folks disappointed; it had a very lofty benchmark to meet.

Uncharted 3 is amazing so far; I'm worried I'm going to finish it too fast (not sure how long the game is actually supposed to be) but I'm already itching to play the intro again so I'm sure a second playthrough will be happening shortly after I'm through.

Simply and somewhat dickishly put: Your opinions are not the standard by which the general gaming community judges what deserves popularity. It's still a popular game because other people still like it.

Eh, Securom is just a mood-killer all around; definitely don't want that garbage on my system. I'll pick this up eventually, but I have Zelda:SS, ACRevelations, Skyrim and Uncharted 3 to keep me occupied this winter. That way I can wait to see if they patch this nonsense out themselves, or if I have to do it when I

I don't normally respond to articles by posting pictures but these are the only words I could find to accurately express how desperately I want this game. Damn.

I adore Harrison Ford! Naughty Dog already has my money, but were I still on the fence this would likely push me to purchase. Sad but true: Indy has a scary effect on me :)

As if we needed further proof that AT&T was just a terrible choice

This is unbelievably sad. I know he was responsible for the creation of many things that forever changed our lives, but to me his greatest creation was Pixar. And for that, I could not possibly thank him enough

"But I've never felt satisfied by Assassin's Creed's combat."

That was a fantastic commercial

That would be SmashBurger

Exactly! Both are good games on their own, but I believe Origins comes out on top when compared directly to one another. Just my opinion, of course.

I'm keeping tabs on DA3, to be sure, and if they actually manage to do what they say, then I'll definitely be a happy camper. But I'm wary after DA2. Bioware seems to have taken lessons from Lionhead when it comes to market speak, so I'll take the "best of both worlds" with a grain of salt and hope to be pleasantly

Well, maybe "unwilling" was a bit unfair. I just preferred the slower paced, story oriented style of Origins to the faster paced action-y style of it's sequel. I liked both, don't get me wrong, but I have hopes that Dragon's Dogma harkens more towards Origins style than DA2's, if their goal is to nab some of the

The more I read about this game, the more excited I get! Bioware seems unwilling/unable to continue in the direction of Dragon Age Origins, so I'm incredibly pleased someone is stepping in to attempt to pick up the slack. I'm definitely interested; hopefully it'll make it's way to PC, too.

Damn...Even if they were competitor codes, how in the hell did they think this was an acceptable way to handle things? It's mind boggling; it's a shame they aren't being made to replace the coupons they stole from their customers.

@all: Thanks for the suggestions!

So, my laptop died last night and I'm in the market for a new one. I don't have a huge budget (less than $650) but I'd still like to get a machine capable of running games like Mass Effect 2 or Assassin's Creed on med-high settings without issue. I know a desktop would be a better choice, but it's not really an option

I've always set my Wii horizontally and it plays just fine. Is this really being brought up as a redesigned feature? The original model plays horizontally AND plays Gamecube games. I'm not really sure what they're thinking with this unless the redesign is spectacularly amazing aesthetically or something.
