Every time I hear about the Old Republic, I just feel disappointed. I know it's an old nerd-rage thing by now, but I so wish it was a single player game, not one that seeks to rape my wallet every month :(

@goldenroad: Yes, Kinect is compatible with all current 360s. They said as much in their show. However, if you have a 360 that is not the fancy new one, Kinect will require a second power adapter (which should come with the thing itself according to GT) and will be plugged into the wall.
@djthekidd: That's my guess too, now that the price was absent from the showing. If Kinect was anywhere below $100 or even around the low hundred's, they would have announced it.
@Stealth_chill: Because, unfortunately, you did. Microsoft's conference ended at around 3pm ET today. EA's conference kicks off at 5pm ET and Ubisofts at 8pm ET tonight.
@Newestname: There is, but it is internal this time around. Gametrailers had a fellow showing this off shortly after the show. On what looked to be the bottom of the console, there was a little compartment that housed the new HDD.
I sincerely hope Gamestop has some sort of upgrade deal. This new 360 sounds fantastic, but spending $299 on a console I already own does not.
@battra92: Actually, the fellow they had showing the new model off on Gametrailers said the Arcade IS seeing a price drop. It's supposed to be priced at $149 now.
@UsernameOfTheDead: I'm considering an upgrade from my 120gb model if someone somewhere has a decent trade in/upgrade value
I wonder what sort of value Gamestop has (if any) for those looking for an upgrade. My white, wi-fi-less, 120GB airplane jet 360 phat could stand to be upgraded a bit.
@Xaxir: Gametrailers showed some guy with the new console right after the show. He showed that the hard drive is hidden in a little compartment on what looked like the bottom of the console. The two did indeed look different, though I wasn't really paying all that much attention.
I feel like a terrible person but I....I....really liked that stupid animal game :(
Much respect for this man if his leaving (and the suspected reasons for doing so) are true.
"Should You Buy A Playstation 3?"
Am I the only one who doesn't care at all about 3D? I just don't get what all the fuss is about; to me, it still seems incredibly gimmicky.
"Consumers like their packaged media library"
The movies don't need a reboot. So long as you completely ignore the second one and don't think too hard about the first, the Tomb Raider movie was fine.
@Walking Eye!: Are you speaking in terms of the actual article or the comments attached? Because I didn't see a lot of attacks on this woman (save for the picture, which was pretty unnecessary) in the actual article.
Slightly off topic but I don't understand D-pad's cheap shot at Assassin's Creed II; granted, I've barely even started RDR, so it may be a completely different thing, but I thought AC2 was plenty engaging.
I understand the fear from single console gamers, but from my perspective, I view this as a good thing.
I originally purchased the system because I found a $450 160GB Uncharted bundle. Couldn't pass it up and I've never looked back. I adore my PS3.
