@outuendo: I did. That's kind of why I commented. Because I read the article and it said nothing directly about the existence of a 2008 sequel. Which is why I asked about it.

Sweet! This, coupled with New Super Mario Brothers and my graduation (which happens to occur on this exact day) will make for a fantastic start to the summer!
So....what exactly happened to the other Prince of Persia? Are we going to get a sequel? Was it just a one time experiment? I loved the 2008 reboot and would hate to see them abandon it
They had better wise up about this nonsense and get rid of it before Splinter Cell Conviction comes out.
@Xeriel: Out of all the eccentricities surrounding that duo, I'm most entertained by the fact that the translators name is Lennon, given his appearance. Appropriate, yeah?
Wow....that's a bit on the insane side. I mean, piracy is definitely not a good thing and he needs to be punished but this is beyond what is justified.
I think what Bioware is doing with Mass Effect 2 is insane. I'll be vague, just incase there are some here who aren't spoiled, but I just started updating myself on the game a few weeks ago, simply watching official trailers and interviews.
@gurfinki: I've actually played all three, and my vote still went with Uncharted 2. I can't really explain it very well, and certainly not as articulately as the debate article did, but Uncharted 2 was a gaming experience completely unlike the other two games.
While I adore Assassin's Creed II, I have to go with Uncharted 2, hands down. Absolutely no contest in my mind.
Spaghetti Cormorant? What in the hell is a spaghetti cormorant?
This was a fantastic discussion, and many good points were brought up. But to me, Uncharted 2 was a gaming experience (emphasis on experience) unlike any I played before it and there was never a question or a doubt in my mind as to what the GOTY should be after I played it.
Seeing Modern Warfare 2 being compared to Uncharted 2 in terms of writing quality awakens in me an anger that I don't quite understand.
@Sesshu @hstgonzo001 @MarMoon: Ah, Indigo Prophecy. I've never actually played that game before but I'll give it a try. Thanks!
I don't, in any way, mean this in a derogatory, inflammatory or trollish way. I am asking a sincere question as someone who knows little about this game.
Just stop with the Wii and DS, Ubisoft. You are quite obviously not capable of producing anything other than shovelware or worse on the systems. So just stick with what gives you moderate success and leave the Wii/DS developing to the studios that can actually handle it.
I don't have much of a weekend, thanks to college and all, but what time I do have will probably spent in Mass Effect, trying to build up a decent save for the 26th.
@Luis Garcia Ramirez: And that's fine. It's just my two cents.
@ithyphallus, bonks morrigan: I think , instead of writing off the comments as "people who didn't read the article" maybe you should take your own advice and read what people have written.
@overlord_x: Not really, because as a gamer who just went through the 45 minute climb to the top, you know just how long it would take to get back without having to replay the sequence. Instead of having you go through the, no doubt tedious, process of backtracking through a level you've already explored, ND expects…
The problem I'm seeing is a lack of observational skills and creativity on your part, Mr. Wardrip-Fruin. This is an interesting read, to be sure, but your points are easily explained.
