I think there is an article about how the main car got stolen or something like that during production. I could be wrong.

I really wish I would have kept it. It was such a great car. It had all the bell and whistles. It was fun to drive with the VQ35 and very nice to look at. Hope it stays that way for you!

Had the exact one pictured with 185,000 miles with the 6 speed manual. It was a fun car.

I agree. Probably preserving the outside just in case if material is found on the exterior of the van and to no disturb anything while towing or potential vandalism. It honestly could be them taking extra precautions.
