What really blows my mind is how none of the Tesla shareholders, engineers, managers, or scientists could stop this idiot from reliving the mistakes of the DeLorean. It’s like any dumb idea might stand a decent chance of making it into production because Elon noticed that it generated a lot of buzz on social media.

Yeah I remember hearing those words of wisdom when I asked about the car in Back to the Future. Seeing the Cybertruck is just a blast from the past... a much worse past now.

Some Cybertruck owners say their fellow Cybertruckers are blowing things out of proportion, and one said it’s a good idea to not “...drive it in the rain, or get it wet.

Man, my PS5 still feels like a newish addition to my console collection. I have no desire for an upgrade. It doesn't even feel like games are pushing it to its limits yet.

If this promo image is to be taken at face value it looks like they are (could also just be a homage to the original comics) The deco is from that era, the chunky robots fit, as does the clothing.

That spacesuit and meatball in Ben’s portrait is very Apollo-era with the red/blue outlet/inlet connectors. https://space.stackexchange.com/questions/42114/why-did-the-hose-connectors-on-apollo-spacesuits-come-in-pairs

That was Peyton Reed’s pitch to Fox twenty years ago. He’d just had a big hit with his early ‘60s comedy Down With Love with Renee Zellweger and Ewan McGregor, and he wanted them to play Sue and Reed in an FF movie set in the same time period.

I can answer this question for you.

I remember when Evil Dead was funny.

For the 1 millionth time, free speech protects people from the government imposing penalties on you for saying stupid/offensive/controversial/etc shit.

I was skimming through Sam Neil’s autobiography last year, and in it, he discusses his experience filming Dominion with Chris Pratt, and how the man has this action hero demeanor he never had. And he said that’s because he never tried to play Grant as an action hero - Grant was an academic, just a guy out of his

Wait. So, do you work for Tesla, or have your years of pro-Tesla comments on Jalopnik just been for fun?

The Hunger Games franchise just did “YA Dystopia Hitler : The Movie”, so I guess it’s not too surprising.

Setting aside the moral value of the things you highlighted, you’re  comparing an entire civilization to one person. You’re treating an entire race of people like they’re all morally culpable for the events that you highlighted (though notably they did not succeed in exterminating the tribbles). Yes, there are plenty
