Subway doesn’t seem to understand their customers.

I know Jersey Mike’s, I served with Jersey Mike’s, and you Sir, are no Jersey Mike’s.

I had a motorized meat slicer in my kitchen for years. Nothing over the top or industrial grade but it was great for more than just slicing meats; good for certain cheeses and veggies too. You could get paper-thin onion slices.

Yeah the meat really isn’t any different than before.  It seemed like a silly idea to begin with.

It’s a great line but not surprising at all. I didn’t realize how cheap these railroad companies are until the rail workers strike last year. I seriously didn’t know that some full time workers don’t get paid sick days. I thought that was a federal law. 

I’ve streamed some PS3 games on PS Plus Premium and the image quality was pretty abysmal. Part of that was likely due to the fact that PS3 image quality was generally bad but a lot of it was due to compression artifacts caused by streaming. Hopefully the streaming of PS5 games fares better.

Read all the books and cite all the economic “rules” you want, nobody cares what a thing “should have” cost if it had been adjusted for inflation all along. It wasn’t, and we just care what it cost now compared to a year ago.

The “reality” is all economic “rules” are completely made up and selectively “enforced.”

My main gripe about this specific stretch of the season is THEY WENT TO A BRAND NEW GALAXY. That should have been gigantically momentous.

When a senior starts losing weight, it’s not a good sign.  Prediction:  this man will be dead within a year.

He looks significantly thinner in the face, and it’s emphasized by how poorly his clothing now fits.

I hope he’s in terrible pain.

I swear he’s looking skinnier now than when he had his first blank stare into the abyss a month ago.
