Their heads look too large. I think that's what makes them look creepy to me. But lots of figures seem that way, and I don't always know if it's just me (not a fine artist or scientist) or if the proportions are really very off.

Do you mean the row over the Doctor's persistent rudeness to Danny Pink? It really did read as racist for US audiences (which includes me), but in British context was seen as very much a class commentary, and that is reinforced by Danny's evaluation of The Doctor as an "officer."
