Okay, there was Lovecraft, there was the usual generous helping of snappy quips, Ichabod crankiness, and sensible discussion. But the line of the episode was delivered with the perfect blend of suspicion and antagonism and contempt:

Yes! I had to rewind it twice because I was laughing and sputtering with delighted disbelief.
It didn't seem like Irving recognized Henry at all, I can't remember them meeting last season, so I guess unless they had taken his picture and sent it to Irving ... which given Reyes said Jenny's car crash was 2 days ago (I think?), there wasn't really time.
Pong 2: Electric Pongaloo
Absolutely agree on the kids. Young Master Bruce especially is doing a great job, but having them be regulars is NOT what I was hoping for. Based on the initial promotion, it seemed we were getting more of gangsters/Gotham Central/Jim Gordon Begins. Then they dropped all these photos of the kids after talking it up…
My thoughts exactly.
Another major problem with the model is books 4 & 5 being essentially single book that is split between settings and POVs.
Rychard Vayle. Rickard Vayl. Rykkard Vaele.
This was the most WTF tie-in ever. Expected to see it on the list.
Re: #3 - Yes, I like that they're having him change his shirt to begin with, and I LOVE the sparklies!
Agree on Courtney 100%.
Just want to say that I liked Courtney. I liked that her parents were there together, that they weren't squabbling with each other or being combative or defensive with the teachers.
Looks more Arkham than stately Wayne Manor to me. Maybe Arkham before it gets repurposed and funded.
As close as I could get without spending much time digging. Here they are in space (aeronautics), and a moustache plus the word "animal" (walrus).
The Brave New World one is really creepy (which is not inappropriate). But is it just me or does that person look weirdly flattened?
Was it good for her, too?
So done with this week. What I want my bad knee to do, and what my doctors probably want me to do:
Was thinking about watching Labyrinth again this weekend.
+1 to Adventure Time. After watching a few episodes and realizing it wasn't really a show about dudebro heroes and butt jokes, but that it was about post-apocalyptic times, had real friendships and relationships, cool swords, science-ing princesses, AND butt jokes - then I was all in.
Really. I'd pay that to NOT be sitting on the Iron Throne with a Baratheon crown.
