#TrueDetectiveSeason2

It was a great change, just different enough and just long enough. I want to see the design clearer and more detailed, but it works well as a distantly seen and hard-to-grasp being.

"This helped him find his way to Ehrenfried Walter von Tschirnhaus"

Yes, the (now) classic heist shots were so fun. The slo-mo, the overhead in the elevator, the guards bursting in juuuust too late into an empty space, Clara in a suit... Just seeing the promo stills made me call it "Oswald's Eleven."

Thank you for the "shutity" gif! That is a treasure worth a bank heist.

No indication given, but maybe it started by accident, a fall onto one's back, or an otherwise injured genet just clinging on for a measure of safety?

The one idea I liked was the organization using astronauts as bait. Not that that hasn't been done, but I liked that reveal.

Also: "grimdark" may be played out, but I'm willing to go with TimmDark.

Their ad images often don't directly correlate to something in the show. I suspect this is just for the sake of creepy imagery.

Here, my first thought:

I definitely did for some, especially the damaged church one.

The rebelling Americans foresaw the invention of Twitter and texting, and decided to rid themselves of a few extra letters as well as the yoke of tyranny.

"But groups of interacting gene clusters create an extremely high and consistent risk of illness..."

I already have all of Cowboy BeBop on DVD, and I don't even own a blu-ray player, so why do I want that set so badly? -_-

I'm honestly not sure I've ever had a one-off hallucination. I had an experience when I was a child that was either that or a particularly vivid waking(?) nightmare (and no, it wasn't quite the thing described in the latest Doctor Who episode). That was something tactile so very unusal for me.

I'd want Stormageddon (Dark Lord of All) on my side rather than the other, that's for sure. Not sure I'd trust him on my back, though.

"Your cybernetic limbs - give them to me."

Thanks for sharing your perspective on this with us all.

Ta! At first I thought Netflix didn't have it on streaming, but I see it's basically its own season, just not listed separately.

I haven't watched Children of Earth yet! Just never got around to it. I didn't realize Capaldi was in that as well. Guess this bumps it to the top of the queue.
