Thank you for bringing this gif into my life.

Beat me to it. I'll post anyway:

Reassembly would be one of those games where I spend more time on character creation/ship building than actually playing the game. Not to knock the game at all - I would just enjoy tinkering with that aspect that much, I expect.

I didn't realize "Bears Discover Fire" was well-known and had won the Hugo! Or maybe I just don't remember knowing that. I read it randomly in a Terry Bisson collection, I think, about 2003, and never forgot the title but otherwise all I can recall is a very strong impression that it was great and amusing. Must find

Oh, and I'm befuddled why there has been no mention of him searching for Gallifrey. I really thought that was going to be the overall plot for this season.

In the "end of the universe" scene (once I got over the parallels to "Midnight" which I just rewatched), I got the sense that the Doctor was HOPING for ghosts as much as dreading them - he was hoping for the Time Lords, for evidence of Gallifrey, for someone... When I mentioned this to MrEris, he agreed and clarified,

We can't stop here - this is Weeping Angel country!

Yes, Parker! I really liked when she very openly wanted to learn different behavior and times when she realized she wanted to change...and she asked other people for help (eventually, and in somewhat unusual ways). And then she figured out through trial and error what advice and behaviors worked for her, and to what

Linda Hamilton/Sarah Connor in T2 is directly responsible for my wardrobe consisting of a disproportionate amount of black tank tops ever since that movie came out.

Agree. Fantastic. :)

Xeno-curious. The grass is always greener (perhaps like a skin tone).

First person to do karaoke "Rocket Man" on Mars. First person to sing "Is There Life On Mars?" on Mars...

My ambition is to be the first person to die on Mars - of old age. After having lived there a few years, or it doesn't count.

Ye gods, this could turn Rob Ford into a supervillain. I imagine it rather like Clayface.

We nurtured some sourdough for a while. MrEris called it "The Bread Monster."

I think it was just written with that goal.

Aisha Tyler!

Don't need to genderswap all the other characters. Let's get Catherine Tate in one of those roles!

I really hope Jessica Lange's character is all tentacles under that gown.

*headbangs in approval*
