I had read the whole series and the first couple books multiple times before I saw the movie. And I did howl at some things (Sting), but delighted in others (Patrick Stewart). But I did legitimately enjoy a lot about it.

This is pretty much how I feel about the movie as well. I had heard it was bad, oh so bad, and when I got around to seeing it on VHS with a couple friends, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. And it wasn't *just* because of Patrick Stewart.

I heartily fnord approve of fnord this post fnord.

Totally. I even mentioned him a couple times before season 2 ended, when discussing Orphan Black, wondering if they would have another set of clones, and thinking they would *probably* be male, and if it was going to be a new character then he would be so great.

It wasn't an organic horse, but the mission organizers had decided to offer the explorers a touch of home by creating ship-cleaner bots that looked like rabbits and squirrels, small ground transports that looked like horses, and so on. A bit of Earth, and hopefully the robotic animals would prove psychologically

Yes, it's unclear, but she seemed to be the one who was going to doctor appointments about it, and if her reproductive system was fine after the accident and miscarriage, then there shouldn't have been such a stumbling block.
