I found an extension with the unwieldy name “Font Changer with Google Web Fonts,” which lets me sub in any Google Web Font on sites that Chrome renders poorly. It’s really just an abstracted user CSS interface, and it’s a manual adjustment every time I come across a site that assaults my eyes, but it’ll do.

I get the “GPS signal not found” routinely on Android as well, so it’s not JUST an iOS thing. It usually doesn’t last for long, though, and doesn’t usually lose the GPS signal until I go indoors.
