I’m crossing my fingers that a stroke or coke-induced heart attack takes trump out soon after Jan 20th. I know it’s probably too much to hope for, but the GOP is too cowardly to impeach him, and if he stays in office he is totally going to lead us into another, possibly nuclear, war with an errant tweetstorm, and then

Pizza in the mourning
Pizza in the grieving
Pizza at somber times

Bagel BitesⓇ

Yeah, this year has been a motherfucker, but I’m confident that 365 days from now, we’ll be longing for good ‘ole 2016.

The art of losing isn’t hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster,

Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.

Seriously or communal living will be become more popular. They were already starting to see a rise in that. We have these huge mcmansions that people can’t afford so more than one family living and working together could be comfortable. Though I’m sure authorities/government would step in and say something like one

You mean like how so many of them relied on their parents to take care of their children while they were working? You mean that whole issue? Also they get sympathy for having to work longer than they expected when they take responsibility for the shitty economy that was tanked when I graduated college in 2008.

I have a real issue with calling boomers self absorbed because they don’t want to spend their 60s and 70s working as unpaid babysitters. Especially when many are still in the workforce long after they thought they would be able to retire.

I feel like everybody forgot about the anti-vaxxing and cleansing toxins by living on juice for serveral days and all that nonsense, very quickly.

I never even heard of the pizzagate conspiracy theory until dude walked in there with a gun. I guess unfollowing and defriending all the idiot trump supporters from my hometown really helped to secure my liberal FB bubble.

We had to move in with my parents to be able to afford daycare without going completely broke every month. We’re going out of our minds there, but the rents (and the daycares) are too damn high.

This is why I believe polygamy will become a thing in my lifetime.

Working from home sounds great, in theory (so does Communism). My job allows me some flexibility so when my daughter was born in the fall, I took days here and there to provide care when my wife’s short term disability ended. Let’s just say that it took several days to get the “work” part down pat in “work from home”.

Unaffordable childcare is definitely not just a white person problem.

Holy shit that’s obnoxious if your wedding is anything even slightly more formal than, “Yeah, so we’re making it legal next Saturday. Drop by the house next week if you want and maybe bring some beer.”

“What kind of napkins are you going to have?”

Now playing

I would propose MORE combination wedding-Taco Bells

Idk, this year I saw a lot of baskets full of flip flops in the bride’s colors this year. Crocs seem like the next logical step.

I read way too many of these (up until “foxhead garlands”) before realizing this was satire.

I’d agree that “White People” as a group don’t really have an overall culture.

Sunburns! A very important part of our culture!
