I was totally expecting Laurie to be the veep, but then Liv Tyler appeared on my screen.

I'm VERY cautiously hoping for a happy ending (I think it was one of the showrunners who said that the entire series is basically Kevin and Nora's love story), but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Oh my God, I felt SO bad for him; he literally had nothing to do once he became a regular on Once. They just didn't want to lose him to pilot season, which is weird considering they gave the poor guy zero storylines. They did the same thing to Meghan Ory in season 2

Yeah, it certainly seems like they're setting up an eventual Jane/Rafael reunion, but they're going to take their sweet time getting there. Which I'm all for, by the way, and I loved them together. I guess I'm just a sucker for the slow burn. I'm also wondering how long this Adam thing will go.

Oh, you're right…I completely forgot he was on Covert Affairs at the same time. Totally agree he needs to be in more.

I always felt they should have done more with Pinocchio. I loved Eion Bailey in the role, and the way they kept writing him in and out was ridiculous.

And Xo made the perfect Samantha. That was awesome. And I'm still laughing this morning at "or has this widow peaked?"

Agreed; my first thought was it's not Rose, it's Luisa. But I do also like the theory that it could be Abbey. But my money's on Luisa.

Same. That was creepy as hell

The one thing I'm having an issue with is how or why Elijah didn't let it slip to Hannah. I seriously want some kind of explanation for this.

Yeah, I remember an interview with Dunham in which she said out of the four girls, Shoshanna had the most "fairy tale" ending

I was talking to a friend at work today and her theory is that Ray was at the party, we just didn't see him. We both said that it made absolutely no sense that he wasn't there, and that's what she came up with.

I kind of figured a few weeks ago that something along these lines was the plan for Shoshanna; she's been kept off camera mostly because she was actively getting her life together in a way that the other three were not

I remember audibly groaning when I saw those photos that got leaked last summer. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse than Carrie and Big reuniting….

I am wondering if that is the last time we'll see Desi. His "farewell, Marn" as he left the bar seemed to point that way, but who knows.

Yeah, I tend to agree with this. As much as I want to see her, I think the reason she has been mostly sidelined this season is because she's actively trying to get her life together, and is probably doing the best out of all of the girls.

Andrew Rannels was fantastic in that scene: you can see how bad Elijah feels the moment those words are out of his mouth

Yes! I have never understood the "hate watch" thing. Why waste your time??

Last night gave me hope that Ray is finally coming to his senses re: Marnie. And she's obviously bored to tears with him.

I had kind of given up hope on them just because it seemed like they were really pushing Ray/Marnie for the past few seasons. I always loved Ray and Shoshanna together, and I think it would be very appropriate if they do end up making their way back to each other. They both really made each other grow up.
