I heard it before I even played Sonic CD, thanks to it being the music of Green Hills Zone and Mecha Green Hill Zone on the Master System/Game Gear games Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic Chaos.

Well, a quick search reveals that the model playing Lara Croft at the time was Nell McAndrew. I'm not sure if that's who went on this gig or not. Still, the idea of Julia Louis-Dreyfus playing Lara Croft is pretty funny.

I think it's gone beyond 'just friends' at this point, though I feel Sayaka and Kyouko is the juicier lesbian angle. It was somewhat nebulous in the TV show. But there's some hints that the relationship is real in the latest movie.

Form your own opinion. The movie divided the fan base, and the writer was aware that it would when he wrote it. He knew that the development would not be popular with some.
