Ahhhhhhh... Late 90s Post-Prime DiC, such a treasure trove of ‘so-bad-it’s-good-and-in-twenty-years-you’ll-remember-it-nostalgically’ gems.

Yeah, I’ve been playing Magia Record a lot for the past year or so.

And don’t forget it had Mike Pollock too... who is still Dr. Eggman to this day.

None of the wikis or IMDB seem to name whomever voiced that Hitler impersonation... Yet I’m 90% sure it was Matt Frewer.

I believe he’s still held in such low regard that to this day Sonic Retro’s forums auto-change TSSZ links from unwitting newbies to ‘cutefluffykittens’.

Oh, so that’s where this came from. :)

The Sonic Advance Trilogy regularly get overlooked from these GBA lists, and thirtysomething Sonic fans tend to have little nostalgia for them either, as they commit that cardinal sin of not being the Sega Genesis trilogy.

It’s not ‘Space Jam II: Jam Harder’?

Now playing

I checked out the first two episodes the other day and... I think I’m gonna wait for production of the dub to resume to watch the rest. Because I think only hearing Mary McGlynn’s Major again is going to salvage this experience for me.

Sayaka’s Tv Blu Ray transformation is pretty endearing, too. Also:

Correction: Archie’s Sonic book unceremoniously ended in 2017 after the fallout from several legal shenanigans.

Sonic hater hates.
William, you are a fucking idiot.

Sequel pitch time: Since now we have freedom lean more into lore, the sequel should be a very loose adaptation of the 1996 OVA anime. Something very fast and very weird is going around, terrorizing peoples and even toppling governments, and that’s threatening the secret of Sonic’s existence here on Earth.

And her review’s been added to the Tomatometer, to boot.

... Taking your kids to an R-Rated movie?

Geez. I’m guessing Joan was more a Nintendo fan growin up. :/

Tomatometer’s pegging it at somewhere similar to the Detective Pikachu score. Score one for the fans and Jeff Fowler for listening to them.

It was The Rebellion Story.

I’m mean, if we’re all gonna be tossing hilariously absurd crossover ideas around all willy nilly now...
