It’s CBS, their sitcoms, oddly, don’t exist by the same rules and metrics as other sitcoms on other networks.

I just couldn’t get through the terrible voice acting of Outriders. The gameplay was ok-ish, but never thought I’d be at an age where I really cared about voice acting in games.

Also, you go and spout “I pay X in taxes” is an invite for the IRS to show up and do a massive audit of your operations. Even if you’re above board, that’s a giant headache.

I’m really excited about HZD. I’ve got the base game ... one of those I never finished (I’m the same with the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, I get so lost in the sidequests I just sort of get my fill of them). But now that my older daughter is getting old enough to start appreciating these games, I want to start

TD2 has the same exact problems that TD1 had. The 0-20, leveling and exploring part of the game is REALLY fun. The gunplay is pretty nice. The variety of gameplay builds adds a ton of replay value. But then you hit endgame and the entire experience just grinds to a screeching halt. Everything is cranked to a

The gutting of skill builds is what caused me to quit TD2. I was always more of a “Red Mage” type character, and it really wasn’t fun in the high-end, endgame content you were basically (mostly) forced to be a glass cannon to have any use.

Destiny 2 has been doing a much better job about delivering some quests that have PVP, PVE or Gambit progression. They’ve kind of toned down the idea of the pinnacle weapons as a whole, they’ve just done one pinnacle weapon per season, versus the three they used to have. But for the two seasons, they allowed you to

I see it as any other political monolith. The POTUS is the head of the organization, but the POTUS himself doesn’t run the White House. There’s a whole staff of people who run and make sure the White House, as well as the executive branch, runs as it’s designed to. And this staff probably keeps the President in the

Brightness. Always brightness. Doesn’t matter what TV I’ve played on, the “recommended” brightness is always just too dark. I crank that way up.

The voice acting and writing was absolutely abysmal. The shooting mechanics were ok, but the demo just felt really unpolished.

Wait, which New Orleans season? New Orleans was first season 9, but then they went back for season 20-something.

Those people don’t get a lot of camera time, or they’re used as little interstitial bits to comment on the other people. Those boring people sort of become the voice of the audience ... in other words, they’re just not interesting.

Oh, 100%, that’s why I put the word real in quotes, in a sort of tongue-in-cheek way.

That was season 3 (San Francisco). Season 2 was Los Angeles.

I believe the current record is somewhere around 12:25 or so.

Took us about 5-6 tries, maybe 10 minutes. But for the 10-person DSC run we had, it was totally worth it. Tons of fun.

The problem with Destiny’s matchmaking is how it works.

I did a 10-person DSC run. It was really fun. But I don’t think 12-person raids as the default should become a thing. It was really fun because we all knew what we were doing. And for the one guy who didn’t, we just told him “kill everything.”

Except there are two more exploits you can use instead.

Wow, $1.8 million a year probably doing a small amount of work per day. And who knows, they may have kept their regular jobs.
