Trials needs a tiered promotion system.

Same. I really enjoyed it, and I was a Summoner main. I’m a PS4 player, so I felt wary taking on a rotation-heavy roll like a tank or a healer. But Summoner I could handle. But then it just got to much as I was nearing endgame. And without a static group to play with night after night (my IRL friend had gradually been…
The challenge system is pretty good. It’s kind of a hybrid of the challenge blade from year 1, combined with the weekly bounties. And while you can put off playing to the end of the season, it would be an INSANE grind to finish out 13 weeks of challenges in just a few weeks. I have only three or four of the challenges…
Could it be because there was much less to do in D1, overall? Plus we spent two years in D1 being required to go to patrol zones to farm the materials to level up our gear. That was removed in year 3.
I don’t care that we’re not getting the rest of the Cosmodrome. If Bungie makes good on this promise on spending these resources on content going forward, then I’m ok with it. Already now, we’re back in that place of Destiny where we have all of these cool locations, but with nothing interesting to do in any of them.
Because there’s nothing to do there aside from the 1250/1280 Lost Sectors. This is Bungie’s problem, “here’s this great location ... we have absolutely nothing for you to do in this location.” This is why I really don’t care that they vaulted all those locations. It’s not like we had anything interesting to do in…
So, he hated it.
I think because only 329 movies were released last year. Which maybe sounds like a lot, but about half that from the prior few years. And every year since 2000 has released more films than were released last year.
and even King himself said he liked it
I was watching an episode of Shark Tank once, and one of the founders was a woman, and during her presentation for her product she was particularly attached to, she got emotional and started tearing up. I’m paraphrasing, and the wording isn’t quite right, but one of the investors mentioned this and was saying don’t do…
Strong disagree. While I am disappointed that some content has gone away, namely the legacy raids, the performance of the game has skyrocketed. And, frankly, we had too many locations with too little to do on any of them. I’d much rather get a honed, focused experience to a few planets than a big open solar system to…
Same, but mainly because I got really good drops at the beginning, and then the recaster had no purpose for me. But I’m glad we’re getting a method for people who still are chasing loot to get a more targeted chase.
“Grinding” is really only a part of the game if you want it to be part of the game. Loot drops easily and freely. I play for the raids, even the legacy ones that don’t provide relevant gear, just because the activities are fun.
Anecdotal:
The real math is this. Let’s say I borrow $2000 from you. You come to collect, I give you $600, but then I say, “My friend owes me $1400. So head over to his house and collect that $1400 and we’ll call it even.”
Or they’re just fun, escapist entertainment that lets people drive around like maniacs and blow stuff up for an hour here and there.
It’s baffling. I just had this conversation in threads this past week about people being ok with the current state of the core game. People get tired of expansions, season activities, the raids. But it’s those core activities that keep players coming back. And their absolute neglect of strikes crucible and gambit over…
Quite the opposite.
Wait, are you telling me I can make meatloaf, then slice that loaf and make french toast with it?
Nice ad hominem there. Thank you for your contributions to the dialog.
