Bought my wife’s Kia Soul 2 years ago. It took entirely too long in 2019. They can check my credit instantly (I know I can) and they can have boilerplate loan docs where you cut and paste the specifics. Why does it still take 4 hours from agreeing on the price until I can leave? 

They are not “my brother and sisters” because they do not value the things that I value (social justice, an educated populace, and a fairer system of criminal justice). If they did, then they would have struck in The 1970s like many other states did. Furthermore, teachers are professionals, not the working class.

Why should teachers, in states and districts where they are well-compensated and treated like professionals, negatively impact the education of their students and their relationship with their district to help teachers who do not share out values or goals? It certainly is true in states like NJ and CT. They routinely perform on the level of Euro schools while educating Spec Ed students and a far more diverse population.
