I was kind of surprised to see the “A must-see comedy …makes you laugh till it hurts” in this drama trailer.

I got to a point where I couldn’t remember watching part 4 or not, and I watched a few episodes (again?) and I still can’t tell if I’ve seen them before or not.

This was an all-timer. The new additions to the cast certainly pulls their weight. And despite “the drug episode” usually being antithetical to comedy (sorry camp 1ers), this was played believably well. Didn’t resort to any druggy visual gags either which I appreciated. So many spit take one liners!

They are not exactly shy about having modelled the entire show after the Star Wars OT. It’s even made explicit in the season 2 opener that it’s their Empire Strikes Back season. This is Return of the Jedi, with Rupert as the emperor.

I don’t think you’re far off in that assessment. It definitely applies to Kids as well.

If by months, you mean BEFORE the show itself was released and they told us there would only be three seasons, then yeah.
