Oberwatch is a lot of fun (… sic typo there). That's what I'll be playing, besides Marvel Puzzle Quest.

Yeah it's crazy how they turned a great game into an actually-great-now-but-you-were-just-kidding-yourself-before game. I still get burned out on it, but then a new season and new stuff shows up and I can have a ton of fun again.

I beat the first episode of Doom on a 386/25. Full screen it was a (maybe 1/2 fps) slideshow, so I had to play it in a tiny, three-inch rectangle. Fun stuff.

+1. The fact that we even have to discuss this (instead of say, rolling our eyes and continuing being grownups) is exasperating. Fandom is the second worst.

In Diablo III I'm aiming to get my third gem from rank 58 to 65 as a second conquest to unlock the season stash tab. Wow, that's hardly English.

Janson is a dumb name

From what I've seen it is entertaining in a loud, silly way. The line around stupid being very subjective. The first scene is basically "Either you'll think it's funny, or write this show off" moment that I didn't chuckle at, but I am glad I took with a grain of salt and watched the rest of the pilot.

He was using a dull knife just in case Osha got a hold of it during his pageantry.

I think Ramsay's one strength (without denying his yep-i'm-still-evil shtick is kind of tiring) is that he is actually terrifyingly cunning. Unlike Joff he's very, very fit to play the game despite being a reckless psycho. Dispatching Osha was a sad and repetitive reminder of his cruelty, but also his intelligence.…

The fire FX were pretty cheesy, and could've used an establishing shot of oil soaking the ground or something. Also some of the scenes—especially Littlefinger's caravan—had a cheap, renaissance faire vibe, so I think it boils down to whoever directed this episode (or the budget) wasn't quite on the level.

It's definitely very silly.

I got to watch the pilot. It didn't suck, and it totally respects the source material (but yes, also deviates a lot).

It's fun to watch an adaptation of something you've read, because you can really pick at the differences between them.
