My two-year old made it to the first checkpoint of Shovel Knight by himself. Super proud.

When I was watching this film, did notice and appreciate that at least the stuff he chucked out of his spaceship fell in slo-mo because of the low gravity.
It is pretty common, but they will figure it out eventually. Perhaps take a cue from Diablo 3's adventure mode, and bounties, which gives players reason to do basically everything depending on their goals for the day; give rotating incentives for different content instead of one small list of 'best stuff here' grind…
yeah, he made that movie suck less
A) The direction during the rescue was weird. What's with the slo-mo? Fitz gets quickly dragged backward, and then Simmons has lost the ability to walk all of a sudden, but still catches up to him by awkwardly crawling.
yeah
yeah i just said that
the new one is good
LATRINE!
"I was hoping maybe you guys could call me Landfill, in honor of him."
That name'll get changed before release.

This article got me thinking about the (now discontinued) auction houses in Diablo 3. Prior to the AH being discontinued D3 was pretty much an MMO, albeit a highly instanced one. Now, not so much. But the game is really fun, better even, since the focus is getting your own great loot instead of gold to trade for…
This weekend I actually finished a Mario Maker level instead of leaving it half-completed. It's called Above and Below, and it's not particularly difficult but I think it's pretty fun in the classic Mario style (with a bit of exploration). The ID is 3887-0000-0057-DA62 for those AV Clubbers who want to give it a try.
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Yeah, so far I have watched half a dozen people start playing Mario Maker, and the first thing everybody has done is make a pretty crazy ridiculous level that's full of pain, because they're experimenting with whatever they can. "Fire-flower riding a winged koopa over a lava pit? Oh yeah!". It's a fad.
I put a more 'proper' boss battle in mine by putting Giant Bowser on top of some bricks. Sometimes you can sneak below him and bash a hole in to slip by (if you're big), but usually you have to dodge his fire until he crushes the bricks and then dash beneath him (or hit him with fireballs). It's pretty fun.
Don't you know? SMB2 doesn't count because it was all a dream.
Really she had to put her tears to good use a lot in that game. I liked her parasol; it let her float gently to the ground, made her invincible, worked as a jai alai scoop (basically) AND a convenient boat.
My favorite part is when the Special World music turns into steel drums if you listen to it for a couple of minutes.
