I made the coolest Wolf3D levels back in the day. It's a damn shame they've all been lost to the sands of time. I had a complete re-do of Spear of Destiny where you had to use a pistol for the first 5 levels, including fighting the boss, and no chaingun until after you beat the second one.

With how much potential this has, it's almost certain it won't live up to it. But the resulting game could still be pretty fun.

I watched the preview video on the WiiU shop and it looks really streamlined and easy. Undoubtedly it will be a ton of fun watching what my then-5-year-old daughter comes up with.
