The 500L isn't the prettiest shape, so I think it's wise that they went with something edgy - good car marketing here. Since it's a niche product in the USA anyhow, I don't think they need to worry about offending the more 'uptight' folks.

He means that the dad wasn't involved in the 'sexy' part, just the girlfriend and mom.
I bet it has a big, loud hole in the muffler, and the floorboard has rusted out far enough that the driver's side seat bracket has pushed through, sagging miserably above the bare pavement. The pedal has to be pumped three times - not two or four - in order to start it. But it starts every time, and the owner will be…
That's a great question. I also remember reading about someone hacking one of these early on - and there wasn't much hacking involved. At that time, at least, there was no encryption on the data, and it was very readable and could be edited.
Okay, that makes sense.
Yes, this.
In reality, they most certainly are not filing for an IPO yet. Purely a bluff and a negotiating ploy against Sergio, and not a well prepared one, as they are still demanding too high of an asking price.
Hey, be cool, I don't think English is Máté Petrány's first language. Plus, this really isn't an article, just a short blurb he probably posted very quickly.
The 'NAdude' account was not subversive in any way, at least from what I remember from the TTAC forums. I actually thought that was a source of pride for Bertel and the TTAC staff?? So, I think perhaps this aspect of the exposé must be bring in web traffic to the new site.
Neutral: The problem with GM's ambitions? Their long held tendency to make design compromises. Elon Musk and his engineering teams set goals with the purpose of achieving them. My guess is that the GM car, if developed, will end up going 120-140 miles, and cost a few thousand more than their target.
Well, I believe the worst part about the ethanol is actually the long term effects on seals, gaskets, etc., so it shouldn't do any damage even if it is running rough. The idea of a 15% ethanol mandate seems good for the auto industry and parts/repair industry, but otherwise...not so good.
I am 'indeed' aware of the petroleum products used to harvest corn, though the tractors usually run off of diesel, which theoretically could be biodiesel (I doubt this is practiced much, though).
I don't know if I buy into the idea that biofuels (in the USA, at least) have a worse carbon footprint.
Argh, I tagged 2nd Gear for my comment, but this is of course in response to 1st Gear
There's a three-day gathering coming called "The Eye, The Brain, and The Auto" that will focus on driving and vision in Dearborn, reports the Detroit Free Press.
