Sorry, Jason :( There are a ton of towing companies out there, and some might not even be listed, so I'm still holding out hope. As someone who has an attachment to/love for my own vehicles, I can understand how lousy this is...hope you get a positive resolution today.
Jason had it parked on the street, by his driveway.
I have heard about it happening in Detroit before; I think it is a gray area of the law that towing companies use to their advantage.
Given the flat tire, I think it is most likely some unscrupulous tow service has taken your car as an abandoned vehicle (or some other explanation they will come up with). They wont be in any rush to report it, as it's better to let it rack up fees on their lot. Call these numbers to look for your car at towing yards…
I saw a Doctor leaving a hospital parking lot in one of these recently, and I'd estimate he was in his early 50's. So, your impression is dead on accurate.
I don't expect the Emergency Manager to prioritize the improvement of city residents living conditions and help turn around the blighted urban neighborhoods (the focus will be on finances and downtown improvements), so I can understand why there might be groups who are upset. However, it's clear that their elected…
When the Tesla 40KWh buyers periodically run out of juice and get stranded (and they will), I wonder if Tesla will go through the time and expense of sending a flatbed to pick them up and take them to a charging station, or if they will follow through with the easier option of temporarily turning on the extra vehicle…
Yes - but only once in my entire ownership of my 2009 Ford Focus; it was two summers ago, I believe. It did not 'take off' or anything dramatic, but I had my foot away from the accelerator, and the floor mat was not definitely interfering with the accelerator, yet the car was still slowly accelerating itself down…
Yo Dawg, we saw that your minivan is shaped like a Dustbuster, so we installed a vacuum cleaner, so you can vacuum while driving your vacuum cleaner!!!
LIKE...though I would pull the grille inserts/trim and paint them all black.
Cadillac ATS. Why? It's exciting, yet it probably won't put them in the hospital, like a Mustang Shelby or some other toy might. It's luxurious/comfortable. It's not too big in size, which should prevent them scraping it against too many things. It was designed with driver visibility in mind, per the GM explanation…
That video is not as cool as I remember it being when I was 7 years old.
I agree about the grille, I think something about it aesthetically is just.. off. I could see a Dodge style grille working in there very well, though. Maybe seeing one in person, as a finished product, will change my mind.
NP.
I happen to like the advertising, but I have to admit, that picture is awkward, unnatural, and uncool.
Any indications of how much Rehberger spent on each of these?
