Teen Vogue’s ancestor in the “Who knew teenage girls were so smart?” dept.

My mother came from the same school of impatient thought as you and now I’m 35 and live on sandwiches and cereal. Let people be crap in the kitchen - it’s the only way they learn! I am an expert table-setter though so...

Now you’ve done it. One of Alex Jones’ idiot followers will read your comment, link to it and it’ll be a thing.

I think she’s awesome. But then again I love Swedish pop stars. ROBYN 4 EVA!

I like her stuff- Habits is a great tune. She is a little hit or miss, but when she’s on, she’s great.

I think Leo is aging into Jack Nicholson.

Fuck you, scum.

What a shitty human being you are. Just shameless.

Eh, put that thumb back up your ass, Stig.

Okay, let me say before I say anything else that I speak solely for my own half-Native self and nobody else. And this is just how I feel, personally.

I get that in general, I’m just not sure the criticism is warranted against Davis. They’re extrapolating from one quote how she feels about her entire experience... I don’t think that’s possible.

There’s snark because black and brown people have been telling white people this stuff for ages but, as per usual, white people only get it when it impacts them more personally.

In 2011, Kristin Davis adopted Gemma Rose Davis. In 2016, Davis realized that her whiteness only protects her and not her daughter. Great.

This is not “crying wolf.” I understand what you’re getting at in terms of relative harms, but thinking along these lines and then telling people they can only call out the worst possible offensive behavior is a problem.

Treating women’s bodies as a commodity to be consumed is an unacceptable and pernicious trend that needs to be called out.

It upsets me to no end that no matter how shitty men are, how impolite, how rude, we are supposed to be meek and calm and ask them nicely to stop.

Do you use Amazon? That’s my biggest stumbling block so far as the boycott thing goes.

Agreed. Toxic people want interaction because they don’t know the difference between good relating and bad relating. To them, it’s relating. They’re the kinda people you gotta ghost with and then don’t even try to look back. No sentimentality, no checking in. Disappear and scorch the earth behind you.

Someone I follow on Twitter said “at least punk music will be good again”. Excuse me but I’d much rather have my civil rights instead of another Green Day protest album.
