I think you might be getting the causality flipped there. Not so much a case of “trade makes peace” as “massive state investment in infrastructure and the army makes trade.”

Give any other omnivore the psychical and mental tools to run a dairy and they would too. Hell, put some milk in a bowl in front of a dog, most of them will drink it.

Setting aside the whole natural/unnatural false dichotomy, I also don’t get the vegan/vegetarian foods that are trying to imitate normal food. They’re pretty uniformly terrible.

Kind of sounds like it doesn’t it?

Agriculture has caused lots of health problems, it doesn’t mean we should give it up.  

Which is too bad. I’d really like to go back to the west. It’s probably just a result of playing too much Fallout 2 as a kid, but I like the western settings better.
