Shmi was on last week's episode of The Clone Wars, not the one airing this Friday.
@Voltron43: Indeed, but with only a gigabyte of free storage, it's not much of a drive.
I am definitely hoping to look back on my Twitter account as a public diary. I've already browsed the tweets I wrote in my first year of using the service and marveled at how different I was back then (and yet, how similar, in certain ways). My Twitter history is a fantastic resource already, and it will be even more…
Yeah, this still downloads the file to your computer, it just stores it in your Temp folder and automatically copies the correct Temp path into the upload dialog. So if you want to do this with a 2GB video file, you'll still need to wait for it to download.

Google Reader for the win!
Lynne (you spelled it wrong, Ms. Hannaford) Hale was joking. Anyone who believes her completely tongue-in-cheek, playfully-snarky comment is an idiot. Seriously people??! You are all pathetic. Give up your George hate and just let him and his rep make some jokes at the expense of people like you who take it all too…
Star Wars: THE Clone Wars.

@sans_fi: I suppose if you wanted to be super-technical you could say that they don't show the jump to hyperspace, and that the approach to Tatooine is shown after they have already exited. But Dan the Man Wallace also makes good points.
@Kepal:
@sans_fi: The hyperdrive did allow them to jump as far as Tatooine (which despite being far away, *is* explained to be the only safe enough planet in range) but not Coruscant.
It's also worth pointing out that this is only one galaxy in the Star Wars universe. The Yuuzhan Vong, a major threat in a post-ROTJ novel series, arrived here from their own galaxy, and several others are known to exist. The galaxy depicted above is the main one where virtually everything in Star Wars takes place,…
@a.seivewright: The Unknown Regions were not as appealing to explorers and government charting expeditions because the hyperlanes (think of highways but in space) out there were unstable and pirates were notorious. The same can be said of parts of the Deep Core.
@mordicai: The Unknown Regions which dominate the western edge of the galaxy have not been explored as thoroughly because of hyperlane instability (which is also a problem in the Deep Core, which, as you can see, is relatively uncharted). There were also myriad political and economic reasons that hampered expansion…
@sans_fi: If you remember, the Queen’s pilot said that their ship’s hyperdrive core was leaking (from damage sustained during their escape). Tatooine was the closest planet to Naboo without an official Trade Federation presence.
@TehBeardMan: Excellent, thanks for the info!
@TehBeardMan: I like the look of the LG unit better. Does it support video playback through the USB port?
