I cant disagree with anything but this is only about film and tv. looking for well thought out space battles? try reading the lost fleet series or honour harrington. Totally different degree intelligence used to write or read.

I do know Jack. Lovely feller, very popular with the ladies. Just got fired from Bae systems because the Indian military buy all their bombs and planes and tanks and warships from Russia. Oh yeah all their nuclear weaponry technology too. But, hey poor untouchables dont matter while the Brits pay to feed them.

That was fantastical. I love those films that are ever repeating but changing slightly each time. There was a european director who used to do that with classical music and balle dancers.
